Leadership - Clergy & Staff

St. Andrew's is in transition and will soon be actively seeking new clergy to walk with us and shepherd our church family as we follow Christ. More information on this process will be available soon.
This summer, our services of Holy Eucharist will be celebrated by wonderful supply clergy.
Jim Evans, our senior warden, Chris Catanzaro, our junior warden, and the rest of our wonderful vestry are leading us through the transition.
You are invited to read the following letter from our most recent Priest-in Charge, The Rev. Peyton Williams, whose last Sunday with us was June 1, and you are invited to join us in prayer for Peyton and for our beloved church family as we all begin to find out what God has in store for us next!

Dear St. Andrew's,
How lucky I am to have been loved by you all; how blessed I am to have been your priest. I am at a loss for words as our time together winds down this week, but my heart is so full. Thank you for all of the ways you have walked alongside me as we have sought to follow Christ. Thank you for all of the times you have lifted me up as I have found my footing in this vocation. Thank you for affirming my call to the priesthood and for trusting me to be your pastor. Thank you for inviting me into your lives, into your hearts, and into our St. Andrew’s family. Thank you for welcoming me home.
As I think back on our two years together, I am struck by the deep joy we have shared with one another. From worship services and fellowship events to outreach projects and neighborhood celebrations, church has been fun! Together we have launched new ministries and shored up longstanding ones, we have explored and served our neighborhood, and we have welcomed many new members into our St. Andrew’s family. The sound of St. Andrew’s is now the sound of a robust choir, a lively exchange of greetings at The Peace, and the laughter of little children in the Soft Space. Friends, there are so many good things happening in our home on the hill, and I am confident that they will continue in your care.
The coming weeks may feel strange. Whatever comes, you know well that the way through hard things is to walk through them together. In the midst of grief and in the face of the unknown, may you keep showing up in faith, leaning on one another in love, offering big hugs in St. Andrew’s fashion, and calling one another into community. Indeed, I pray that you will continue to gather together as the body of Christ — next week, next month, next year and for many years to come — and that the Holy Spirit will meet you there.
Jesus said: "Those who love me will keep my word, and my Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.” (John 14:23) My dear siblings in Christ, God has made Her home with you; She abides in the love you share with one another, and She always will. As for me, you will always have my heart and my prayers. And whenever anyone notices that I smile when I proclaim the gospel or that I walk out into the pews to pass The Peace, I will say to them proudly: St. Andrew’s taught me that and so much more.
St. Andrew’s, I love you all very much. Thank you for loving me.
Yours in Christ,
Peyton+
The Rev. Peyton Williams
