Christianity is a way of life. Because it is a way of life, we are, in some way, always becoming Christians, followers of Christ. While this process may begin at Baptism, it is a lifelong process through which we learn and live into the fullness of Christ through experience, reflection, engagement and challenge. It is the dynamic way in which our whole life is shaped by God through the work of the Holy Spirit. We call it Christian formation.
Because growing in the fullness of Christ is something that happens most significantly through acts of relating to Christ, each other and the world, we seek ways to integrate head learning (biblical study and theological reflection) and relationship-building at St. Andrew’s. Christian Formation includes a rhythm of worship, a rich practice of prayer, and a commitment to learn, support, care for and enjoy one another and all God’s creation. To be formed in the fullness of Christ, please join us in our fellowship gatherings, as we care for ourselves and others, and as we support our neighborhood.
