Adult Forum is an opportunity for folks to gather together in a small group setting between services on Sunday and to explore different ways our faith may shape our daily lives. We meet at 10:00 a.m. in St. Andrew's House during the program year for a time of lively conversation and fellowship.
We tend to operate through a parishioner-led model, with a new person leading the discussion each Sunday. Starting points may include books, poetry, videos, current events, scripture, etc.
On Sundays, September 15, 22, and 29, the Adult Forum returns with a study of The Return of the Prodigal Son by Henri J.M. Nouwen. Inspired by Rembrandt’s depiction of the Gospel story, Nouwen focuses on the younger son’s return, the father’s restoration of sonship, the elder son’s vengefulness, and the father’s compassion. Books can be picked up in the Parish Office. Plan now to join us starting Sunday, September 15, at 10:00 a.m. in St. Andrew's House, and click here for an overview of the Adult Forum programs we're planning for the rest of the Fall!
