The Diocese of Virginia
St. Andrew’s is an Episcopal church of the Diocese of Virginia. The Diocese of Virginia was organized in 1785 and is descended from the colonial Church of England and the first permanent English settlement at Jamestown in 1607. The Rt. Rev. Susan Ellyn Goff is the Bishop Suffragan and Ecclesiastical Authority of the Episcopal Diocese of Virginia. She was consecrated on July 28, 2012 at St. Paul's, Richmond.
